Many of the Western people are straight forward and sincere with GOD Almighty. Take the Christian missionaries for instance: They leave their high technologically advanced and comfortable life style and go to preach the Gospel in countries like in the African continent, where starvation and very undeveloped life exist there. Those missionaries give up their comfortable life in their Western countries and go live for several years aiding and assisting those needy people along with teaching them the Christian Gospel.
As Allah Almighty praised them in the Noble Quran: "Strongest among men in enmity to the believers (Muslims) wilt thou find the Jews and Pagans; and nearest among them in love to the believers wilt thou find those who say, 'We are Christians': because amongst these are men devoted to learning and men who have renounced the world, and they are not arrogant. (The Noble Quran, 5:82)"
Yes, they indeed have renounced the world and they are truly not arrogant! Ameen (Amen).
It wouldn't surprise me if Allah Almighty got so fed up from the current Muslim countries that He finally decided to make Islam live its glorious times in the West instead. Only then will the Muslims live in democratic states and enjoy freedom of speech and religion for everyone and not lose their lives if they question their religion, and live a physically clean life (I am terribly sorry to say that, don't mean to offend or stereotype anyone), and treat animals with kindness (such as with the Animal Rights Groups. People go to jail if they abuse animals in the West), which is ironically what Islam teaches. It's ironic that the Western people are living what Islam taught 1400 years ago (except for their ridiculous open sexuality, which by the way the religious people among them avoid), and the Muslims aren't living what Islam teaches!

If the current Muslim nations are too corrup t, then Allah Almighty will change them with better ones:
As long as the Muslims are cowards and fear to rise up against their own corrupted governments, Allah Almighty will never help them to regain their wealth and independence. As long as the Muslim fear to rise up against the evil of their infidel governments because they love life too much, they shall always be the needy people despite what Allah Almighty gave them from Wealth, Natural Resources, Beautiful Religion, Morals and Culture, and Geography, because He the Almighty said in the Noble Quran:
"Because God will never change the grace which He hath bestowed on a people until they change what is in their (own) souls: and verily God is He Who heareth and knoweth (all things). (The Noble Quran, 8:53)"
Allah Almighty has no tolerance for corruption which includes sinning and hypocrisy in Islam:
"Behold, ye are those Invited to spend (Of your substance) In the Way of Allah: But among you are some That are niggardly. But any Who are niggardly are so At the expense of Their own souls. But Allah is free Of all wants, And it is ye that are needy. If ye turn back (From the Path), He will Substitute in your stead Another people; then they Would not be like you! (The Noble Quran, 47:38) "
As long as the Muslims tolerate dictatorships and hypocritical life in their countries, Allah Almighty will never be satisfied with us, and He might ultimately substitute us with other better nations who are more straight forward and sincere.
Hadith #4297:Narrated Thauban: "The Prophet peace be upon him said: 'The nations shall gather and team up against you (i.e., Muslims) as the predators gather and team up against their preys. A questioner asked: 'Is it because of us being low in numbers at that day?' The Prophet replied: 'No, you that day shall be in great numbers, but you will be as powerless as the foam of the water on the surface of the river, and Allah shall remove any fear from your enemies toward you, and He shall put in your hearts a corruption.' A questioner asked: 'O Apostle of Allah, what is the corruption?' The Prophet replied: 'The love of life's amusements and the fear of death.' (Translation of Sunan Abu Dawud, The Book of Fierce Battles - The Gathering of all Nations against Islam, Book 37, Number 4297)"
Some guidelines from Allah to solve world's poverty and sufferings and solve all miseries due to disasters
[4:5] Do not entrust the (immature & the) weak of mind with the wealth & assets over which Allah has appointed you the guardian. But out of that wealth, feed & clothe them (appropriately) & talk to them in a kind & polite manner.
[4:10] Those who unjustly (& sinfully) misappropriate the wealth of the orphans, are actually packing their bellies with fire. They shall burn in the blazing fire (of hell).
[4:29] Oh you who believe! Do not devour each other's wealth unfairly _ (through force or fraud). Rather, enter into (a legitimate) trade (& deal fairly) with mutual consent & agreement. Do not kill (destroy) each other. Indeed Allah is full of mercy for you!
[8:28] Be aware that in fact your wealth & your children are (just) a trial (& a temptation). Allah has a much greater reward for you.
[9:24] Say, "If (the worldly bonds) _ your father, sons, brothers, wives, other relatives, the wealth you have amassed, the business you fear to lose, & the house you are so fond of _ are dearer to you than Allah, His messenger & the struggle in His path, then wait till Allah renders His decision. Allah does not guide the sinful nation."
[18:46] The wealth & children are mere adornments for the life of this world. In the eyes of Allah, the good deeds one leaves behind are better in terms of expectations & outcome
