Most wanted Swat terrorist held from Karachi KARACHI: Karachi CID police claimed to have nabbed a known and wanted terrorist, hailing from banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Swat religious outfit, and recovered from his possession, heavy amount of arms and ammunitions from Baldia Town locality in Karachi on Saturday night, Geo news reported.

According to CID police sources, the activist of banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Swat Hassan Zaib Khan alias Hassan Jaan has been taken under arrest from Baldi Town limits of metropolis and seized from his possession, snatched motorcycle and illegal weaponry, SSP CID Mazhar Mashwani told Geo news.

The arrested Taliban has remained involved in launching scores of terrorist strikes on security forces, police checkpoints and girls’ schools and collages located in Swat and Matta tribal areas, CID sources claimed while he had been enlisted among the most wanted terrorists’.

“Hassan Jaan had been hiding in Karachi since commencement of Swat search operation”, he said, adding, “As many as 4 Taliban key commanders among 11 insurgents have so far been taken under custody in separated strikes carried out by joint team comprising CID and Sindh police officials all across Karachi.”
